Dipsy is green, has a straight antenna, and is a compete sucker for Laa Laa's obvious charms. He displays a slight homophobia which is presumably borne of the guilt he feels over his earlier involvement with Tinky Winky.

Dipsy is slightly shorter and younger than Tinky Winky, but is in many ways more mature and self-assured, largely as a conscious effort in his drive to display drumlin-cred.
